Brenda Lehman received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Nashville School of Law in 1992. She became licensed to practice law in 1993, and is admitted to practice in all Tennessee state courts. Ms. Lehman has served the Williamson County community and private clients in areas ranging from probate and family law to business representation and civil litigation. Ms. Lehman regularly handles REO (bank owned real estate) matters, Evicitions, Bankruptcy claims, Subdivision and Zoning issues, boundary disputes and other general civil litigation.
Ms. Lehman has also worked in the field of Title Insurance for 26 years, beginning work at Lehman Land Title, Inc. while still in Law School. Ms. Lehman has previously held the position of State Underwriting Counsel for a national title insurance company and a national underwriter handling all of their underwriting questions and legal issues regarding real estate matters across the state of Tennessee. Ms. Lehman currently owns Lehman Land Title, Inc. and is Co-owner of Lehman Title & Escrow, LLC in Brentwood, Tennessee. There she oversees the commercial, as well as residential closings, title searching operations, underwriting and title production services of the companies.
Ms. Lehman is an instructor for National Buisness Institute and a copyrigthed author on the subjects of title search and examination and boundary line disputes. In the community she is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the American Bar Association, American Land Title Association (currently serving on the Education Committee for ALTA), Greater Nashville Association of Realtors, Williamson County Chamber of Commerce, Women in Business, Lawyers Association of Women, Worldwide ERC, RESNET, REOPRO,the RWWC and TNFRW.
Ms. Lehman has served on the Davidson County Foster Care Review Board and the Brentwood Children's Council. She is the past Treasurer for the RWWC, current chairperson for the TNFRW Beyond the Vote Scholarship Committee and a volunteer on fundraisers and special events. |
